Its made out of high quality aluminum and is super smooth and solid. The handle is designed to be long enough for use with camera remotes. Works perfect for cell phones or cameras up to6 lbs. Includes a quick release plate for quickly removing your camera.

Has 3/8" 16 threading on the button. Quick release plate has 1/4" 20 threading.
